TOKONOMA (Kassel) and Soshenko 33 (Kiev) inviting you to watch, participate in or listen to a work in progress with support by Radio Sound System. Radio Sound System is a mobile radio station and a sound system. It provides a mobile response to the Narrowcast House, an open radio studio and listening space initiated by artist Anton Kats for documenta 14´s aneducation. Operated in close partnership with local art and cultural initiatives and the neighborhood of Kassel’s Nordstadt, Radio Sound System allows collaborators to develop site-specific “narrowcasts,” taking the form of listening sessions, performances, on-air presentations, demonstrations, screenings, and installations.

TOKONOMA (Kassel) und Soshenko 33 (Kiev) laden Sie ein, an einem work in progress teilzunehmen, diesem zuzuhören oder ihn zu beobachten. Unterstützung erhalten TOKONOMA und Soshenko 33 vom Radio Sound System, das zugleich eine mobile Radiostation und Soundsystem ist. Es stellt eine mobile Antwort auf das Narrowcast House dar, einer von Künstler Anton Kats für das documenta 14 Vermittlungsprogramm „eine Erfahrung“ entwickelten offenen Radio- und Hörstation. In enger Partnerschaft mit lokalen Kunst- und Kulturinitiativen sowie der Nachbarschaft von Kassels Nordstadt ermöglicht Radio Sound System Kollaborationen zur Entwicklung von ortsspezifischen „Narrowcastings“ („Schmalfunk“) in Form von Hörsessions, Performances, live gesendeter Präsentationen, Demonstrationen, Filmvorführungen, und Installationen.
