Alexander Raczką, born in Strasbourg now living in Paris and studying at the École des Beaux Arts, is showing us the result of his ten-day residency at TOKONOMA.
His work moves around the appropriation of the city trough actions and painting, wanting to expose its identity and make it his own.
He feels close to german culture, and expresses a great interest for the societal mechanisms and behaviors (how do people function between themselves and vis-à-vis of their history), as well as the construction of the german language.

Expect a strange circus of movement and colors, a small footprint of the city seen by an alien pair of eyes.
