During a Hörverstehen entitled Land & Language Joar Nango shares excerpts from the indigenous hip-hop archive and a traditional soup. Nango graduated with an MA in architecture from NTNU in Trondheim (2008). Since 2007 Nango has been writing, editing and publishing Sami Huksendaidda: the FANzine as a part of his ongoing research on contemporary Sami architecture. He is inspired by the creative simplicity and DIY mentality that exists within northern rural environments. In addition to his projects in printed matter, he is also working collaboratively on projects that intersect art, design, and architecture.
